Spouse ILR

Post by Arch » Wed Jul 12, 2017 11:41 pm

Hi,
I would be applying for ILR in September using Set (M). My husband is a British Citizen. I will be applying using the 5 year route. I came to UK in 2o12. I was granted visa 2 times.First from August 2o12 to Feb 2o15. Second time,it was from March 2o15 to September 2o17.

My question is how many years' co habitation proof should I provide?

Will it be just for last 2 years? Or last 5 years?

It says on the website that I need to provide documents for the period I am relying on and the documents should be evenly spread over that period. But I am confused.

Could you please let me know how I can provide the documents ( for which months) and for which years?

Thanks

all 5 years.
usually the guidance says 3 different forms of cohab proof, spread evenly, every 3 months. so 4 letters from each year spread evenly.

Thank you guys for your replies.

Even I think last 2 and a half years' documents shoulder sufficient as I have already provided docs for the period prior to that during m last visa extension.

Has anyone gone through a similar situation recently?

Do you know if I can call the customer service number of Home Office for advice just to be sure?

CR001 has given the correct advice.

If you call the UKVI 'help line' 10 times, you're likely to be given 10 different answers. I believe that this service is outsourced to an agency whose staff appears to have had inadequate training in the Immigration Rules :!:

Please don't send me PMs asking for immigration advice on posts that are on the open forum. If I haven't responded there, it's because I don't have the answer. I'm a moderator, not a legal professional.
