Spouse visa application - sponsor's father's details unknown

Hi,

I'm currently in the process of applying for a settlement visa for my Korean wife to move back to the UK with me later this year.

We've hit a stumbling block already, though. Basically, on the initial application form that she is required to fill in online, there is a section that requires her to enter the full names, DOB and place of birth of my parents.

The problem is that my father, while named on my birth certificate, is someone that I haven't been in contact with for my entire life (as in, I don't even know where in the UK he lives, or if he's even alive or not), so I have no way of finding out these details.

As this section is a required section on the application form, we can't really progress any further until we get it sorted.

Really looking to get it done ASAP, so if anyone has any advice as to how we can proceed, it would be hugely appreciated.

As per my understanding applicant's parents details need to be entered in online application. Please correct me if I am wrong.

If you don't know you don't know. I dont have access to the o line form but I certainly didn't complete my daughter's father details in her application as the details are unknown.
