RLMT - just the two required sources or doing more?

Post by Helle1989 » Tue Jul 18, 2017 6:06 pm

Hello experts,

A quick question: an employer is currently going through RLMT, with the potential (and desire) to employ me at the end of it.

My question is - do they just need to do the two required sources (Universal Jobmatch + one more site is the option they have chosen) or should they do more? It is a fairly high-skilled job, so should they be going out of their way to post on LinkedIn, share on more web-sites, publish on their own site etc. or is it just the two required sources that will be considered?

2 are sufficient. Linkedin and social media type websites are not favoured by HO.

Thank you ever so much!

I did think that was the case as well, but have considered those additional sources more as "on top of" and due diligence to give validity to the RLMT, as LinkedIn / social media type places are where the company has found almost every employee to date (it is a very well-connected industry) and places like the job web-sites are very rarely if ever used. But I guess the requirements are there for a reason, for us to follow.
