Tier 2 (ICT) to Tier 1 (Exceptional Talent)

I am currently in UK with Tier 2 ICT VISA and would like to move to Tier 1 (Exceptional Talent) Visa - Can someone confirm whether it is possible or not ?

If yes then can i apply from UK ?

Not the easiest visa to get and you have to be endorsed and go through two stage process. Not many apply for it.

Yes it's possible, and yes you can apply from the UK (i.e. no need to leave if your TIer 2 is still valid).

Yes, you can switch to Tier 1 Exceptional Talent Visa Route from any of these visas:
- Tier 1
- Tier 2
- Tier 5 (Temporary worker - Government Authorised Exchange) on an exchange scheme for sponsored researchers
