Need help with Settlement visa!

Post by caroheisey » Thu Jul 27, 2017 8:40 pm

Hello!
I am applying for a UK settlement visa to marry my partner in and remain in the UK. A couple questions, any help is appreciated!

1. If he scans official documents like birth certificates, bank statements, etc., and sends them to me, is that an acceptable format for me to print and submit to Sheffield?

2. What online forms do I have to submit in addition to the supporting documents? So far, I have the UKVI online and the Appendix 2 (hard copy?)

Thank you so much,
Caroline :)

No, originals must be submitted. A birth certificate is NOT needed for a settlement visa. Assuming you are applying for a Fiance visa valid for 6 months (cost £1464)???
2. What online forms do I have to submit in addition to the supporting documents? So far, I have the UKVI online and the Appendix 2 (hard copy?)
Online VAF4A and had copy Appendix 2, that's it for forms.

Do we have to submit original passports, either myself as the applicant, or my fiance as my sponsor?
