Spouse visa AUSTRALIA TO UK

Post by dme82 » Wed Aug 02, 2017 8:24 am

Hi,

Anyone have any timelines of how long their spouse visa took applying form Australia to the UK?
We submitted my husband & two children's applications in Sydney Australia on the 6th June 2017. We paid priority for each application and still have not heard back. We did get a email on the 13th July saying it was not straight forward etc But we have not heard anything since. We went thru a UK immigration officer, so we had a letter of support with our applications. Quite frustrating and disappointing that we paid the priority x 3 for nothing really. Its now 2nd August 2017..

There are currently delays from many countries.

An immigration advisor has no influence or effect on a visa application.

What evidence have you submitted with your application to show that you meet the financial level?
(Casa, not CR001)
Please don't send me PMs asking for immigration advice on posts that are on the open forum. If I haven't responded there, it's because I don't have the answer. I'm a moderator, not a legal professional.

Cash savings only apparently. User posting in the 'still waiting decision.....' long running thread as well

I have submitted sale contracts from the sale of our property along with bank statements and letters from solicitor regards to the sale etc my immigration officer advised this was the way to go as we had been in possession of the property for over 6months so it can count towards cash savings once it was sold.
