Are you in a relationship with the mother?

Is your name on the birth certificate?

How long have you been in the UK?

What is your full immigration history if any?

As a visitor, you are not permitted to switch to other visa categories.

You can't apply for another category of visa as a visitor.

You should apply from home country for a visa you qualify for.

There is no online status checking service anymore. HO removed in mid December last year.

It appears you ignored the advise given to you here. How can you qualify if you are in a relationship with the mother and in the UK with a visitor's visa.

You need to brace for a possible refusal, as those are 2 disqualifying features of your case.

I hope you get the approval and can be near your child InshaAllah. Perhaps they may give you the leave outside of the rules lets hope so - All the best. More likely than not you will likely be refused and maybe advised to make a application from your home country.

Why did you not go through the usual spouse visa route instead of trying to take shortcuts and convert a visit into settlement!

Indeed, my view was based on the information that he had provided, and the implication of that on the law.

yeah
thank you
i was not in arelationship with her. sheis asingles mother she got three children before i meet her and with my son she got four children.
i stayed in different address and i have my prove of address .though i came in through visiting visa which i have already over stayed for 7months and i keep doing my responsibilty on my baby upbringing.
the mum even write and confirmed that i do care and responsible for his upbringing ,she even gave me her original british passport and the baby s own for part of my supporting document to HO

Did you declare the relationship with your child's mother in your visitor visa application? What reason did you give for your visits to the UK :?:

I'm confused. How was your son declared in a visitor visa application if you've overstayed for 7 months and your son is only 1 month old? :?

Did the Immigration Officer at UK Border Control ask the reason for your visit when you last entered?

i think i need to explaine to you well
have been visiting london ever before i meet my baby mother .so i got my uk visa before my baby came into the picture and i was already in london before my baby mothe hard the baby.i only apply for flr fp based on the fact that i have a british baby and i and the mum are not together but i perfomed my responsiblities on the baby and i do have all evidience for this
with this i think i have tried to explain my self

You may well be asked to provide a DNA test to prove paternity as your name on the birth certificate may not be sufficient. What documented evidence of joint responsibility are you able to submit apart from a letter from your son's mother?
