Deportation of british citizen from prison

My friend is currently serving an Indeterminate prison sentence In which he has to serve a minimum of 15months. Thereafter he would be subject to a life license. He has dual nationality both British and Bangladeshi and was born in the UK. He is conidering renouncing his british citizenship so that he get deported after he has served his term inside prison .
I am wanting to know if that would be possible?

It sounds crazy as so many people are desperate to come and stay here.. He doesn't want to live in this country any longer, as he feels let down by this countrys legal system. He is currently serving an ipp sentence which was found to be against human rights by the european courts, there is no guarantee when he would be released and would like to live where his parents are from. This would free him from the unfair life license that he received.

Don't think it is as simple as that. See the link below. Life licence is for pretty serious crimes. Renouncing citizenship also doesn't remove the life licence. The person might have difficulty leaving the UK.
