Help! RCoS for New Hire Assigned but still have concerns

Post by smarttygirl_29 » Fri Aug 04, 2017 7:14 am

Hi everyone, this website is amazing as I have learned a lot for my RCoS (Restricted Certificate of Sponsorship: based from what I had read from other topics in this website) application.

This will be my first time to ask my concerns and I hope I will not be reprimanded upon making a new topic just for my own concerns. I have read almost every topic here, and I'm afraid if I add my question to another related topic then I'll just be branded as being rude. So moderators, please forgive me for adding a new topic, but I'm willing to learn if ever I'll be receiving a warning for this.

My story goes like this.

I have just been assigned my first ever Restricted Certificate of Sponsorship this July 14 as I'm from the Philippines living outside of the UK. One of my concern is the MAINTENANCE FUND. My sponsor at first didn't tick it but now they have amended it and entered in the Sponsor's note that they be giving me a certain amount of money equivalent to the Maintenance Fund. Will this suffice? Or am I better off with re-applying for a new Restricted CoS?

Another one is the section in my Cos where it states: "DOES THE MIGRANT NEED TO LEAVE AND RE-ENTER THE UK DURING THE PERIOD OF APPROVAL?' What does this actually mean because mine was marked "Y"???

I'm hoping for professional advice please, thank you again so much for this website!
