Travelling abroad after being made redundant

Post by UNka » Sat Aug 05, 2017 8:03 pm

Hello everybody,

Yesterday I received a notification about my redundancy effective yesterday. I've got a two weeks trip abroad booked in two weeks time.

Am I allowed to travel abroad? Do you know where to read about it?

Many thanks for your attention to my question.

U.

Thank you, vinny.

Does anyone know how and where to get a clear answer?

Kind regards,

U.

Have you clicked on vinny's link and the links within there to rules and various bits?

Yes, I've checked and haven't found any clear guidance unfortunately - only a risk of refusal to entry.

They may refuse entry due to change of purpose (320(5)) or circumstances (321(ii) or 321A(1))."

So what more are you looking for when vinny has quoted the specific number of the rules?

Some members have been refused entry in the past.
