English test for FLR(M)

Post by Moa7 » Sun Aug 06, 2017 9:12 pm

Hi,
I am using an old IELTS certificate with my FLR(M) application, but I don't have the original certificate with me at the moment.

Is it okay to submit a copy of the IELTS certificate? Has anyone applied for FLR(M) with a copy of their english test and been approved?

Thanks in advance

You need the original. Also, the rules changed in May this year and A2 English is required for FLR(M) extension.

CR001 thank you for replying. Are you able to give me reference to a guideline that says I'd need the original?
Reason I ask is with my original application in 2014 I had submitted a copy of my IELTS results and got an approval. Want to check if that would work this time too.
I have a C1 level result so I'm good to use my old IELTS (called and confirmed that with the UKVI but took ages to get through the call and I didn't realise that my original was not with me).

Also - apologies for multiple threads. I couldn't spot my original post. Thanks very much again.
