ICT Established Staff to Tier 2 General

Post by funfrolic2007 » Sun Aug 06, 2017 9:46 pm

Dear Sir/Madam,

I came in Dec 2010 in UK and now I am planning to change VISA to tier 2 general. My company has been extending my VISA and current VISA is valid till Dec 2017. I am planning to change my VISA before that my current VISA runs out. I have few question, can you please advice.

1. My understanding is that no cooling of period is required
2. Will I be to able to apply ILR in Dec 2020 i.e 10 years from the time of entry to UK (as I will be in UK continuously)
3.Or will I have to wait for 5 year to finish on Tier 2 general.

Please suggest.
Regards
Janki
