BRP Card Collection

Post by thekhan87 » Mon Aug 07, 2017 10:40 am

Hi all,

As some of the readers may know my wife got her UK visa 2 weeks ago. She did not get a decision letter nor any details of where to collect her BRP card.

All she got was her passport and told you will get card in UK.

Should I go to my nearest post office that offers BRP card just incase it is there or should I contact home office?

Has anyone else by any chance had a experience and if so what did you do?

Thanks!!!!

Did you not nominate a PO in the form?

Presumably she is now in the UK, so she will have to go with her passport.

Thanks for the quick response!

Yes she is in UK and arrived 5th August 2017. On the application form my wife submitted she is not sure as the advisors at Sylhet filled the form for her. But I think on one of the paper forms it may of been indicated as post office.

BRPs can ONLY be collected from a Post Office, within 10 days of arriving in the UK.

As she only arrived less than 2 days ago, I would suggest wait till the end of the week.

Hi all,

Great news. When I actually went to the post office on Monday. To my wife's luck the BRP card was actually waiting for to collect it and I was relieved.
