ILR application- Visas on different passports

Post by livingintheuk12 » Tue Aug 08, 2017 9:51 am

Hi, does anyone know if my visas are on two different passports (dual citizenship), can I still apply for ILR after the 10 years? or because its on 2 different passports (5 years on 1 and 5 years on the other) and therefore it does not count as 10 years? [same name on both passports] Thanks!

What nationality passports do you hold and what visa on which passport do you hold?

Have both passports/nationalities always been declared to HO since day one?

Hi, I have 5 years tier 4 visa on my HKSAR passport and 5 years tier 2 on my BN(O) passport.
And NO. I have not declared to HO since day one since I only renewed my BNO when my tier 4 visa almost expired on my HKSAR passport. And since then I have used my BNO to apply for visas. Thanks!

Do you have dependents in the UK on Tier 2 General dependent?

Why not apply for ILR based on Tier 2 and keep it simple?

Sorry, I meant tier 2 and 5 on my BN(O), sorry that I left this important information out  But since my 5 years on BNO is not just purely tier 2 so I cannot apply for ILR based on tier 2
