Hi,
I am currently on a Tier 2 (general) visa for a shortage occupation with an NHS Trust. I have been offered new employment, in the same role (still shortage), with another NHS Trust which I wish to take up. The new trust is organising a RCoS. My question is do I need to return to Australia and complete an entirely new Tier 2 application, or can I use the 'extend your visa' application and change employers in the UK?
I have tried to establish this myself - home office stated it could be done in country, the guidance states it can be done in country with the 'change of employer form' however I am unable to locate this, the gov.uk website states "You may need to make a new Tier 2 (General) visa application if: - you want to change your job and your new job is with a different employer" and my employer believes it cannot be done in the UK.
Any specific advice about where, and which forms to proceed with, would be much appreciated.
Cheers!
