Tier 2 general visa cooling period

Hi,

I wanted to confirm that if I was working on General Tier 2 visa in UK for around a year and then returned back to my country, then later is it possible to travel back to UK under ANY other visa before 12 months? I mean does the cooling period on General tier 2 visa have any exceptions ?? Or is it that I cannot travel to UK under any visa until the cooling period gets over?

Yes I did, but as mentioned 'u cant come back on tier 2 general only.' confused me. I though I cant come back on general tier 2 only but on other visas.

The 12 month cooling off ONLY applies to Tier 2 General applications outside the UK by someone who has previously been on Tier 2 ICT or Tier 2 General.
