Spouse Visa Urgent Help Needed

Post by fahsin7785 » Thu Aug 10, 2017 2:33 pm

Hi guys i hope i am posting in the correct section, but i require some advice and guidance on my wifes spouse visa application as i am going out of my mind with worry and the stress is getting too much for me.

The background to my wife application starts around 2 years ago when i first applied, it was refused within 2 weeks of submission due to the fact there was a 20p difference from my payslip to my bank statement, very harsh but i couldnt do much to change the decision. So instead of appealing i decided to re submit a application with explatnations to why there was 20p difference in my pay (it was my employer at fault) this was rejected yet again. I waited another 8 months before i reapplied.

This most recent application was made in May. She went for her bio metrics on the 21st May we have been waiting ever since, we are up onto the 12th week and not heard anything back, i have sent emails and phoned the call centre they have on the Goverment website with the same response of it with the ECO waiting for a decision. I am so worried as my wife is pregnant with twins and i doubt she will be able to fly if the decision does not come with the next 2 weeks as she is 30 weeks pregnant and the airlines will not allow her to travel after 32 weeks of pregnancy.
i am worried that the decison will come after her time allowed to fly, what will happen then and what can i do? is there a time limit placed on how long they can wait before entering the country. Also the fact that she will have 2 babies in tow and what do i do about them? they should get citizenship through me as i was born in England so they should via descent?

Are there anybody here who are in the same sort of postion as me and what are they doing about it? My new job salary is 28k gross so it should be straight forward shouldnt it? I have made a massive mistake not taking the priority service but i thought the decision would of come by the 12 week as stated on the goverment website. it is so hard to get updates from anyone in the home office or any sort of good advice :-(

there is a long list of people waiting, it is not unique to your application.

Your wife will only have 30 days visa validity to enter the UK, if she is unable to travel, she will have to apply for a new 30 day visa at a cost of £168 or there about.

Oh ok thank you. How many times can I extend it? Also what do I do about my children? Will it take time to get them their visa? Or will they be issued British passports?

Are you British otherwise than by descent, ie. either UK born to BC parents or BC through naturalisation?

If yes, they can apply for British passports or RoA on a foreign passport. British passport from overseas can take 6 to 12 months.

I was born in England my parents are british citizens also. I have been on the phone to the premium service and they told me that i can apply for a passport for both my children after they are born with a birth cert fro overseas.
6 - 12 months is not what i was told? this is too long, i am in a serious mess if this is the case, as my wife will not be able to fly if she gets her visa and my children will not be able to without passports. i really have no idea what to do. Will have to re submit a fresh spouse visa application if she cannot fly within the time frame given ?
