Spouse visa Financial Rules

Hi my spouse has had his visa frm pakistan and is living with me and his son. I have to reapply for husband spouse extension visa. I am earring 14000. He hasnt found a job yet. How much saving do i need to show to make 18600. Is this requirement law still out? What english course does he need? Thank u

He needs A2 English SELT test.

You still have to meet the £18,600 financial requirement.

How much savings do you have?

Is your husband's son a British citizen? If he is, then the required level of savings = £51,000 which must be held in an accessible account for a minimum of 6 months.
Only savings over £16,000 will qualify and the first £16,000 is disregarded in the calculation.

Judgement on the MM case is expected to be released later this year, which may result in 3rd party financial support being permitted.

Are you claiming Public funds at present?
