Appointment Date

Post by bholo » Tue Aug 01, 2017 2:24 pm

My 5 Years on Tier 2 Complete on 24th October 2017.

Earliest I can apply is after 26th September 2017.

When can I start to book an appointment? Heard its 42 days before?

Is it 42 days before 24th October 2017 or 42 days before the date I plan to make an appointment.

Need some assurance

Post by bholo » Mon Aug 14, 2017 9:43 pm

I am on tier2 General. I got first tier2 in 24 Oct 2012.
I have calculated days and earliest i can apply is 26 september. Is it 26 or 27 september. I am confused can someone please help.

Secondly do we have any success story of anyone who applied exact 28 days before as i am hearing its better to wait few days. i dont want to wait anymore as i have waited enough. Can someone please share (forum moderator or member) who applied exact 28 days before and got ilr.

u can book appointment 42 days back so i am planning to book tomorrow for 26 september. please confirm i am eligible to book tomorrow for 26 september as it is 28 days before 24 oct 2017 where i finish 5 years

Many success stories, search the forum.

For the sake of one or two days, you want to potentially risk losing almost £3000 because you "have waited enoug"?

It's the 27th onwards.

I have counted on a calendar. Your choice.

Good luck.

Thank you for your help. Happy to wait one day but please help me one last time. I think I am doing some mistake in calculating dates. Few of my friends are due this month as well so we have same query about date. I have pasted below step by step how I have calculated my date. I just want to understand why do I count one day more than your calendar count. I know its a bit of fatigue but can you please take a look at my calculation below and tell me what I am doing wrong and why am I reaching 26/09/2017 instead of 27th.

Hey I was expecting this reply. As I mentioned again, I am not asking my question to start a war or to argue with someone.

Someone else said the same that really its only 1 day so does it matters. I am alright with 1 day.

Let me rephrase what i am trying to ask

"All I am asking is that what I am calculating wrong/ I hope this makes sense."

I want to know what is wrong in my date calculation?

My question is as simple as this

I'll leave it to my fellow moderator CR001 to decide whether she has the time to run through your calculations once more. :|
