entrepreneur extension questions

Post by Leeee704 » Fri Jul 21, 2017 10:44 pm

Hi friends ,
i have been told this forum is very helpful. :)

i have my extension due in august 20th

My 1st quarry is about ct620 (acknowledgement of company tax return).

I have been informed by my accountant that HMR is not issuing this letter any more since last 6 months but
my Company did not receive any letter after submitting the accounts for 2014-15 and 2015-2016.

is this letter (ct620) is compulsory ?

You need to send CT600 to show you are registered for CT

You can log into your corporation tax gateway account, from which you can print this out - the print out would show your company name and corporation tax UTR. As this would be a printed out document from the HMRC government portal, which is why it is recommended that you sign that print out. Ask your accountant who will be able to help you with this.

Also, if your company has ever filed a corporation tax return than HMRC usually issue a reconciliation statement, which will also indicate your corporation tax UTR.

While CT600 is very important as it shows your company's tax returns for each year since your initial T1 visa approval. However, as dnf has advised, print it out from your gateway (your accountant will know this, if he/she doesn't then change accountant), sign and also put your company's stamp on it.

Further info here:
https://www.gov.uk/file-your-company-ac ... tax-return

You can include CT41G. This is a letter from HMRC which confirms you're registered for corporation tax.

Alternatively, if you cant find your CT41G, call them on the phone and ask them to send you a confirmation letter that you're registered. This was what I did when I couldn't find my CT41G letter.

bank statement confusion need urgent help

Post by Leeee704 » Thu Aug 10, 2017 5:28 pm

Hi Everyone,
I cant find my old post .
i have my extension due next week.
i have my Business account in Barclays . i asked them to send me my business statements for last 3 years
and they have sent me the copy statements (not original).
I contacted them again and they said they are unable to send the original as i can print it out online .

I'm worried now if Home office reject or accept it as i need to send them as my proof of investments.

Thanks

If they are posted to you from the bank and say 'duplicate copy', they will likely be accepted as originals.

Try a different branch - it works sometimes.

Otherwise send what you have an explain the situation.

In my case i produced my 5 director loan agreements infront of a lawyer.

1.Director loan b/w me and company ABC. Dated after 1st financial year finished (April 2015)
2.Director loan b/w me and company ABC. Dated after 2nd financial year finished (April 2016)
3.Director loan b/w me and company ABC. Dated after Management accounts produced (March 2017)

4.Director loan b/w me and company XYZ. Dated after 1st financial year finished (august 2016)
5.Director loan b/w me and company XYZ. Dated after management accounts produced(March 2017)

I told my lawyer that everyone who is applying or extended their visas successfully they mentioned that date when they made 1st transaction. But he said it is not the right practise.

As i mention above about loan agreement dates. It is right ????

Read the guidelines which sets out what is needed in a DL.
There is no specification on date - it just does not matter.
Logically, it makes sense you would have an agreement before you loan money to your company - but that is not a legal requirement, it is not an immigration requirement. If you were loaning money to a third party, you would make sure you have an agreement in place first, but it doesn't matter when it is your own company.
The only things that is absolutely needed are there in the guidelines. And of course, your name and your company's name (you don't even need an address in the agreement to meet HO conditions)
