Schengen Visa Exploitation by my company

Post by Alicja_Cieslar » Fri Aug 18, 2017 10:49 pm

I work for a reputed Multi-National Company headquartered in US. We have offices and clients all over the world. Some departments have gotten into habit of getting employees on Schengen Visa (Business) for work. 1. For obtaining Schengen Visa a case for business visit is prepared with fake meeting schedule
2. It is shown that they will be visiting our office in that country
3. Employee visit for 4 weeks to 3 months (on Schengen Business Visa)
4. Employee work at client location
5. The Weekly schedule submitted for Visa and actual schedule does not match
6. Our clients are billed for Day Rate equivalent to person working on site

I have tried to talk with people involved and requested them to stop this but they are arrogant and not willing to listen. Senior Management has also chosen to look the other way. I have resigned from company over this issue, but I would also like to take action against this. Small bunch of bad people like this, create bad name for entire nation and their people. I believe these people need to be taught a lesson to set and example.

I am not sure what can I do. Can someone please provide some suggestions?
Appreciate your responses, Thanks!

You already have a topic, there is no need to post the same question multiple times
