Form UKF

Post by oscarmason » Sat Aug 19, 2017 2:59 pm

Hello
I am hoping to clear up whether or not I am eligible to obtain British citizenship with your help! I was born in 1998 in Denmark to a 100 % English father and a Danish mother, who were not married at the time and who have not married since. I am not entirely sure whether I am able to register for citizenship through form UKF, so if somebody knows if I can or not, I would appreciate it.
Anything is helpful

Thank you

Was your father born in the UK to British parents?

Is he named on your birth certificate?

Then if you have all the evidence, yes you would be able to apply on form UKF.

Also- Denmark has allowed (since September 2015), Danish citizens to acquire a foreign citizenship while keeping Danish citizenship.
