URGENT: Letter included in visa LOST

Post by abburgos » Sun Aug 20, 2017 1:09 pm

Hi!

I am writing for a friend. He, apparently, lost the letter included in his visa -- the one that should be presented to the immigration officer once he arrives in the UK. Well, to be honest, there is no way he can retrieve it -- it was accidentally burned. His flight is on the 23rd and we'd like to know where he can get a copy of the said letter ASAP.

Thank you in advance for the help.

He presumably has a visa in his passport does he not? This is sufficient.

What letter does he think he has to present if he has a visa in his passport?

It was the decision letter and written there in bold is that the letter should be presented to the immigration officer once he arrives UK. Also, information as to where and when he can claim his BRP is included. Will it cause him trouble if he cannot produce a copy of it before his flight?
