**ILR (10 Year Route) Documentation requirement advise***

Post by mariusenslin » Mon Aug 21, 2017 2:11 pm

Just want to find out what 'additional' documentation one need to submit as part of ILR (10 year Long stay Route please).

Visa History
-2 Year Working Holiday Visa (Started in 12/2006)
-5 Year student Visa
-2 Year Tier 2 (Unmarried partner Visa)
-2 years 6 months Spouse/Partner leave to remain (Currently with exp. 12/02/2018)

I’ve got both (expired and current valid) passports with all my travel stamps in it (That covers my 10 years+ within the UK). [have traveled and stayed out of the country for far less than allowed time spent outside the UK).

Will submit:
Application Form together with 2 passport photos
-Passports
-English Language Test (B1)
-Life in the UK test
-Current Biometric Card (Current Visa)

Do I still need to provide some of the below:

-10 Yrs Council Tax
-10Yrs Bank Statements
-P60 Forms
-Employer letters (10 Years)
-etc?

Thank you and much appreciated.

You only need your passports to prove residency.
Do I still need to provide some of the below:
-10 Yrs Council Tax
-10Yrs Bank Statements
-P60 Forms
-Employer letters (10 Years)
-etc?
These only required if you DO NOT have all passports.

You're welcome.

Yes, it has been a long and expensive journey of 9 years in the UK :D

Couldn't agree with you more.

I do believe in the distant future it would be worth all the hassle, as I personally cant see much happening back 'home' with the way things are going at the moment. :?

One is also a lot more fortunate than the majority back 'home', who can't and don't have the means to set sail to further shores.

As i always say.."Short term 'pain'..for long term gain" :D

Definitely worth it in the end.

My parents were here on Ancestry visas and then went back but now we are bringing them back again next year. Thank goodness they have a route to follow to leave SA. As pensioners, I worry about them a lot.
