Hi
I have been in this country from past 24 months on Tier 2 General Dependent visa. My husband got upgraded to ILR recently. How does it work for me
1. Should i apply as ILR dependent ? Does this mean i need to wait for 5 years before i become ILR ?
2. How long are generally dependent visas generally given ?
Thanks

On what basis did your husband get ILR, 5 years PBS route or 10 years long residence route?

You can continue to extend your PBS dependent visa until you meet the ILR requirements. An extension will be for 3 years.

Hi All
I came to UK as Tier 2 General dependent in Feb 2012 now I am applying for renewal and my husband is on ILR
1. I am making FLR(M) application. Is this right application type to make ? Does it reset my clock for ILR ?
2. I am making application from within UK. Should I show maintenance funds ?
3. I was working till May and now I am not working. What I should I put down in the financial requirements. Can I still show yearly income for current year ?
Please help

You were already given advice. Was there something not clear in the previous posts? Applying on FLR(M) will reset your clock to zero.

No you cant. An extension application only applies for applications within the UK.
An application from India will be a new entry clearance and will need to be a spouse settlement visa which will be a new 5 year route to ILR.

3 years for a PBS Dependent extension, valid from the date of approval/issue.
