Anyone applies in August to share their timeline & exp?

Post by leclecc » Tue Aug 22, 2017 3:51 am

Hi, has anyone applied in August and does not mind sharing their timeline of applying their visa?
For me---
Application date: 1st Aug
Biometric and document submitted to the VAC: 4th Aug
Acknowledge email to say it has been received in Sheffield: 17th Aug

Still waiting for decision email and my passport to come back?

I have asked the staff in VAC who told me the 15 working days timeframe is supposed to start counting from the next day you submitted your documents to them.

Well there are quite a lot of people here who have submitted their bio-metrics in the 2nd/3rd week of July and are yet to hear from ECO. There is a good chance you might have to wait a bit longer.

If you do receive any updates or any e-mail communications from the ECO, please share here.

We do not need another long running topic when there are already two topics.
