Appendix 2 and every single supporting document returned!

Hello,
I have applied for visas for my Spouse and Child ( I currently hold ILR).
Online Application was submitted on Aug 2nd.
Bio metrics taken in India and passports submitted on 4th Aug.
Documents sent to Sheffield on 15th Aug.
Documents sent included Application forms, Appendix 2 and all supporting documents for Accommodation, Relationship sustenance, Finance evidence etc.

Every single document was returned back on Aug 18th, including Application form, Appendix ,photos, bank statements, letter from employer, covering letter (not even a single paper was retained).

Also the returned pack included a generic letter saying UKVI has taken copies of all documents and will continue assessment,

Is it normal that even Appendix 2 be scanned and returned or have they been returned by mistake? Should I try sending back all the documents again to them just in case?

Sorry if i sound paranoid but I am quite lost here.

It is normal. The documents are scanned.

Does one not need to send a bundle of all photocopied documents? That's what I did!! took me ages aswell!!!
