Hello,
I am writing this regarding my application with Home Office, I had Islamic wedding with my boy friend, we didnt go for the marriage in Council as we knew it Home Office will be funny about it.
We submitted our partner Visa application, my partner is from Ireland and has a stable job here in London and meets the salary criteria as well, our application was rejected on the grounds that we didnt show them 2 year relationship proofs and did not give them council bills etc, at that time we were living in a shared house where we were not paying council tax or even electricity bills except monthly rent of that room, the tenancy agreement was on my partners name not on mine.
We again submitted our application and received a biometric letter which also says that we have not provided them original documents although we have given them original documents, we didn't keep a single original document with us, we gave them all.
Please someone advice me that if i will ask HO to grant me work permit meanwhile they will take their decision, how to do that? where to contact? It seems like my lawyer is trying to help me but she is a little reluctant of contacting HO herself.
Please advice me what to do as we dont have two year relationship proof. We are living together and we can answer any question HO will ask.
Thanks.
Sonia
