Name at birth left blank in Naturalisation Certificate

Post by citizen1234 » Wed Aug 23, 2017 8:28 pm

Hi,

I changed my name after marriage (before moving to UK) and got my Naturalisation Certificate yesterday. However, name at birth is left blank on the certificate. Is it OK to ignore this or do I need to get this corrected? Did anyone go through a similar issue? Thanks.

Thank you! I am worried about future Visas as well as OCI application (I was born in India so will need that visa to travel back to India once I get my British passport). Did you have any trouble with any other Visa?

I am not from India and don't need a visa for a lot of places and can hold dual nationality.

I don't believe it will be an issue.
