Addtional Information requested by Case officer from Sponsor

Post by RavMS » Sun Aug 27, 2017 1:07 am

Hello All,

I need some advice on a few aspects to a request from UKBA when I went for my Tier 2 (General) extension in person appointment.

UKBA have requested the following from my sponsor -

1. A job description, listing specific duties of the proposed employee and how these will be performed on a daily, weekly and monthly basis
2. Hierarchy of all employees within my sponsor organisation. Please record the names of any Tier 2 employees you employ on that hierarchy chart, though you do not need to include other employees' names on this list, but must show their job title/role and how many staff are employed in each role
3. An explanation as to why this organisation requires a IT Consultant.
4. Under Tier 2, employees can only be sponsored in roles qualified to [NQF level 6, or NQF 3 or 4 where the applicant falls within those cohorts]. Any significant changes to the job they are being sponsored to do must be notified. To help us assess the overall role, please provide:
A. a specific list of other duties you expect the employee will be required to undertake, and
B. why this employee would be required to perform other duties
AND SO ON..

My questions regarding these are -
1. How to respond to this query ?
2. Does this type of request signify something other than the case officer requiring more information about the application?
3. Any timelines of when the decision might come through once the response is submitted?
4. any other advise will be helpful.

Thanks,
Ravs

Based on your previous posts in 2016, you were sponsored as follows :
SOC 2429: Business Research and Admin professionals not classified elsewhere.
and
current job is titled Planning Specialist and the new job is titled Offering Manager and will be a promotion.
Where does 'IT Consultant' come in?
1. How to respond to this query ?
Your employer needs to provide what HO is asking for.
2. Does this type of request signify something other than the case officer requiring more information about the application?
HO is likely questioning the 'genuineness' of your role/job. How many other Tier 2 employees does the sponsor have?
3. Any timelines of when the decision might come through once the response is submitted?
It can take a few weeks or a few months. Depends how quickly your sponsor provides ALL the information HO is asking for and how long the caseworker takes to process it.
4. any other advise will be helpful.
Is this still the same sponsor you originally had? How many 'job changes' have you had in the time with the employer and has this been updated on the SMS system? What is your SOC you noted for your extension application? Are you being paid at the correct salary rate?
