£18,600 question

Post by gandalftheking » Sun Aug 27, 2017 7:38 pm

Hi all,

My fiance and I are at the start of the whole process.

One question I cannot get to the bottom of... As a company director of a ltd co averaging £80k p.a. income over the past 3 years (but only paying myself circa £10k p.a. salary), is the turnover/income of the company counted towards the £18,600 or only my actual salary and any savings/dividends I can drum up?

Obviously if it's just based on the company income I'm fine, but if not I need to start planning for this.

Thanks in advance

You have posted in the Tier 2 General sub forum, which is a specific visa category.

Are you applying for a fiance (settement) visa, i.e are you British or a holder of ILR?

Sorry if I have posted in the wrong forum.
We will be getting married in the US, so it will be a spouse visa. Thanks

The question is not where you are marrying, but what are your and your fiancé's nationalities and immigration status in the UK?
