Warning stamp instead of dependent visa for newborn .

Hii everyone..
I had applied for my newborn baby's t2 dependent visa within uk .baby was born in uk.I had given all required docs.
And i got his passport today.
But theres a warning stamp instead of visa .
It says-
If holder acquires nationality of another country , should surrender this passport forthwith to the nearest indian mission pist abroad, unauthorised possession of this document shall constitute an offence punishable under indian passport act.


I have to travel to india in end of sept with baby.what should i do.. pls pls help.

HO wouldn't stamp that as it is not their jurisdiction to do it.

Are you sure it wasn't there before and stamped by the India embassy authorities? The wording of the stamp has nothing to do with UK immigration.

Did you get a letter with the passport?

Visas are not 'stamped' in the passport anymore, the child will receive a BRP card delivered by DX couriers if the application was successful.

Thank you soo much for your help.. just chevked the docs and there is one saying that application is approved and brp will be sent through another post.
I dont remember if this warning stamp was there already on his passport.
I thought there will be a visa stamp and on not seeing that was very worried😛

The stamp must have been in the passport already as it has nothing to do with UK HO or UK Immigration or UK citizenship issues.

I can confirm that what CR001 has said below is correct.
this is something that is stamped by indian high commission on the passport.
