NON-EEA/EU Visa Application Submission from February

Hi Everyone,

I'm a British citizen living in Dublin, Ireland since March and applied for Irish Visa on behalf of one of my Pakistani national parent that is solely dependent on me. It has been over 6 months and no response. This is extreme delay whereas Article 5: Right of Entry of Directive 2004/38/EC clearly states that the visa decisions response should be done as soon as possible.

Is anyone else going through the same frustration?
Has anyone that applied for Irish visa same time as me (in February) received any decision so far?
