Just looking for some advice. I live in the UK and am acting as a sponsor for my cousin in Pakistan to visit the UK to attend our niece's wedding. As his sponsor I understand I have to submit documents such as my bank statements and pay slips.
Firstly, do I send these documents directly to him to include in his pack to give to the officer who will interview him?
Secondly I'm nervous that if these documents fall into the wrong hands, someone gains instant access to my name, address, national insurance number and bank account details (account number /sort code etc ) in one fell swoop and could potentially commit identity theft.
Am I therefore allowed to black out /delete say my account number /sort code using a permanent marker pen when sending the originals over or would they be rejected?
