Spouse Indian passport expired - Applying for AN

Post by kyborg99 » Wed Sep 06, 2017 3:13 pm

My wife, my son and I have had ILR 12+ months and now applying for AN.
3 main Questions please:

1. Her Indian passport has expired this year in Feb. Is this an issue? How do I provide Evidence of lawful residence since Expiry - she is a housewife. We own the house jointly - will house registration papers do?

2. Are below Criminal Convictions OR judgement /civil penalty OR Warning / reprimand please? And I don't think I need to mention c & d below anyways please?
a- 1 FPN speeding SP30, no court involved. £60 fine + 3 points for me from 2013 - expired now obviously
b- my car got impounded in 2015 for forgetting to pay road tax, no FPN and points - paid £160 fine.
c- 1 Parking tickets from council left on the car for Parking beyond Pay & Display time.
d- 1 Going through bus lane fine from council

3. Are friends related to me? Or do they mean blood relatives only? Can a friend of mine (british passport holder) be a second reference please?

Assist Please.

Thanks & Regards,

Relative or related to you means blood relative or someone married into your family, i.e. sister-in-law.

Does your wife have any benefit letters or NHS letters, bank statements etc.

No benefit letters. I will use bank statements - hope it will be ok.
As BRP is a Visa - Is BRP related to Indian passports in any way ? Hopefuly expired Indian passport should not be an issue?

Also, please assist with Question 2 as well.

Thanks a lot.

BRP card is related to a foreign passport yes.

HO requires evidence of residence for the whole time that you are claiming residence while having an expired passport.

I have not answered question 2 because I don't know.
