Hi,
I along with my family was deported from Canada back in 2008 after a failed asylum bid. (Obviously we overstayed our given time to leave the country). My father was put in a detention centre for about two weeks but the officials gave us the option to leave voluntarily and pay for our own tickets in the provided days which we did. I was a minor back then and there are no deportation stamps or anything like that on my passport ( Which is irrelevant anyway since I had to a make new one after losing the previous one ). My question is does the UK and Canada have an agreement to share this information about failed asylum bids and deportations? And also what would the effect be on this on my application for a Masters Degree visa application to the UK or if I were to qualify for a work visa to the UK how would it be affected when I apply for it?
