AN1 & Reference for Child born in India

Post by kyborg99 » Thu Sep 07, 2017 2:44 pm

We (my wife, me & son born in India) have ILR for 12+ months now.

I know my wife and I will need to fill in AN1 and get 2 references ( 1 professional & 1 british passport holder friend)

But my son:
1. Does he need to fill in AN1 as well to go from ILR to BC, OR, MN1? And is fees same for Adult & Child please?
2. Can any professional refer my child or does that professional needs to have worked with my child as well? Like can I ask my accountant to fill reference for my child? OR IT MUST be his local surgery - coz my surgery doesn't do references and is saying no? If not my accountant - can the school reception office do it? Will it do?

Assist Please.

Thanks & Regards,
kyborg

MN1. The forms clearly state under 18 or adults.

How old is the child?

1. 8 years old. MN1 it is. Please suggest on his Reference as GP is saying no.

2. Also I am confused about the Fees now, below link says
https://www.gov.uk/government/publicati ... ised-table
Naturalisation [note 4] £1,282
Nationality registration as a British citizen - adult [note 4] £1,163
Nationality registration as a British citizen - child [note 5] £973

- For my wife & me will it be AN1 'Naturalisation £1282' OR 'Nationality registration adult £1163' ?
- For my child born India going from ILR to BC as MN1, it will be 'Nationality registration child £973' I am taking?

Thanks,
kyborg

Accountant should be ok if a teacher or GP or health visitor/nurse won't sign.

MN1 is £973
AN is £1,282 each - You are NATURALISING as an adult and NOT registering as an adult.
