I've moved your post to the correct sub-forum as your wife's application isn't relevant to the EEA route.michaelm9945 wrote:My wife arrived here last November 2014 on a 2-Year route on a spouse visa and she will now need to extend her visa again in September for another 2 1/2 years before she can apply for Indefinite Leave to Remain.
She has already Passed and received Certificates for the Life in UK test and the Englsih B1 test. I'm on disability, so I was exempt from the financial side of things when she applied for her visa.
What forum will she need to Fill-in? can you give me a direct link for the forum?
And what supporting documents will we need? My wife's name is only on our council Tax bills, Marriage Certificate and the Tenancy agreement. How far back does my bank statements and bills need to go?
This is the list of bills and other documents I have
Disability Living Allowance
Letter from the Doctor why I can't work
Employment and support allowance
Child Benefit/Child Tax Credit
Bank statements
Council Tax
Housing Benefit entitlement
Tenancy Agreement
Npower statements
Marriage Certificate
Birth Certificates
Water Bills
Thank you
Yes, this is the correct sub-forum.michaelm9945 wrote:Thank you for the Reply
Is that the correct forum for visa extensions?
Is my following supporting documents ok?
My Tenancy Agreement from November 2014-December 2016
My New Tenancy agreement from December 2016-Present (I just moved house last December)
Disability Living allowance award (Proves I have a disability)
Bank statements from last 6 months
Utility Water Bill covering last 6 months
Npower covering last 6 months
Council Tax covering last 6 months (my wife's name is on it)
My wife's hospital Record Book (She will give Birth soon)
my wife's cervical screening test letter
My wife's National insurance letter
What about photo Evidence? and what if my wife got a letter from the Doctor?
I thought you said that she entered the UK on November 24th, with a visa expiry date of October 7th 2017 Surely then the visa was issued for 33 months, not 2 years as you posted in your other thread?michaelm9945 wrote:This is regarding my new Topic asking about my wife's visa extension.
She delayed her travel to the UK by a couple months while waiting for our daughters British Passport. Her visa was issued on November 2014
What application fee? £2083 is the total cost (visa fee, IHS fee, premium centre fee). So, it will cost £2,083 in total to apply at the Premium center? what about the application fee?
No as her visa is currently in her passport. She will get a BRP 7-10 days after her appointment if her application is successful. And my wife doesn't have a Biometric Residents Permit. Does that matter?
This is the first I've heard of the IHS having a 30-day expiry date. It doesn't make sense since the IHS covers the length of the visa. The key thing with the premium appointment is that you book it within a period that falls within the expiration of the current visa. Somewhere online it says Premium appointments can be booked 42 days in advance. However, to be on the safe side book your appoint to fall within the last 28 days of the current visa.michaelm9945 wrote:My wife's visa expires on October 7th and I've just paid the IHS yesterday and I was about to book my wife's Premium service appointment today for September 16th until I called the Home Office and this is what they told me.
"The IHS is only valid for 30 days and I will have to pay again closer to the expiration of my visa"
They advised me to wait until September 10th and book for September 16th.
I voiced my complaint, because no where on the internet does it tell me that the IHS is only valid for 30 days. So according to them, since I paid my IHS yesterday, then it will expire on September 10th
Can someone Clarify if this is the truth?
