Indefinite Leave to reamain and NTL application

Post by rockash123 » Sun Sep 10, 2017 4:36 pm

Hello everyone, I have a question, I will be very grateful if you could help.
Me, my wife and my 13 years old daughter have been granted indefinite Leave to Remain in UK n 2007. However I have found out that to find work now, we have to do NTL application. My questions is, is it possible for my wife and my daughter to apply on their own ( I mean combined) or I have to apply also with them? Before they were granted the indefinite leave to remain they were dependents on my visa. I assume now they are not attached to me anymore.
I am asking because we think they use the premium service and it cost a lot. After their application, I will apply as well.

Kind Regards

Each applicant makes their own application. There is no 'dependent' concept once ILR is granted.

Thank you so much for your answer CR001. This is what I thought as well, just wanted to be sure.
In NTL application form there is a section 6. Documents -https://www.gov.uk/government/uploads/s ... -04-17.pdf.
I am a bit confused about the following: If you are unable to provide the documents in section A above and you and/or your dependant(s) were granted ILR on a previous passport or other travel document, you must provide-bills, documents, school attendances etc...

My question here is - Does that mean that if my wife and daughter provide all their passports, they will not need to show any other documents like bills, bank statements etc. or they must have those with them just in case.

Kind Regards

Always better to include them as each immigration officer is different. Better to be properly prepared than under prepared.

Hi CHMOSUK and thank you!

I will always do that, they saying is really straightforward process but you never know, what they will ask for.
Never mind the money, you know what is more important here you got to think well in advance.

Kind Regards
