Hi everyone,
I'm going to apply for ILR in Tier 2 Gen route. I've worked for 3 employers till now in this route.
My problem is my previous 2 employers doesn't exists anymore. Company got closed.
(And that was one of the reasons as well of me switching employments)
Now in this case I won't be able to get absences letters from previous employers or I can't even contact them as they doesn't exists.
Could please anyone suggest what could be done in this case?
Is my payslips and passport stamps enough to prove that I can out of UK from so and so dates and I've been paid?
Thanks in advance.

You will need to write a covering letter explaining this for each employer and the period your were employed, in addition to completing the absence table/schedule plus passport stamps.

Letter from employer is enough. If employer mention in letter that was part of entitled annual holidays then you don't need any pay slip !

OP is asking about absence evidence for previous employers who no longer exist or trade.

Now in this case I won't be able to get absences letters from previous employers or I can't even contact them as they doesn't exists.
In this case you can use couple of options
- Pay slips for the month
Bank statement showing you were being paid
Airline ticket (return ticket)
passport stamps

Thanks guys for the help.

And write a letter explaining what your absences were and why you cannot provide an employer letter. Don't just send documents without a detailed explanation.

hi guys,
Quick question on Absences letter.
I've Absence letter from my current employer for absences away from UK during current employment.
Question - Do I also need to provide payslips, bank statements for that period to back this up?
Thanks in advance.

No. Letter is enough but that's for current employment. Was not your question about previous employer which is not in business anymore?

Yes,
My original question was for my previous employment for which I am going to provide payslips, hope it gets accepted.
Wanted to confirm for my current employment too, thanks.
