Refusal of entry Clerance

Post by ebisco » Mon Sep 11, 2017 3:03 pm

I applied for a tier 4 General student visa but was given a refusal for the following reasons
1. When ask why I chosed the particular institution, my response was that it was a good institution, a good course content and moreover that it was recommended by a friend, they said the answer I gave was a generic answer

2. When asked why I had chosen this particular course by response was that I wanted this course and they didn't find it credible, that I must have researched other instutions before coming.

Am confused do I seek and administrative review and how should I Marshall it??

Thanks

Type out the exact wording of the refusal you got (take out any personal details).

Not sure what you mean by 'marshall it'??

1. This is a generic answer and does not demonstrated that you have conducted any research into the benefits of studying at any other institutes and your response indicate your decision is based on the opinion of your friends. This lacks of research detetermines your credibility as a genuine student.

I do not find it credible that planning to come to the UK from Nigeria to study you have not asseed other options available to you.

3. This is a very generic answer and does not demonstrate the course content and no specific details of what the course is about. This lack of research further undermines your credibility as a genuine student.

"Marshall" I meant how to I tackle this problem.

Thank you

Are you applying for a postgrad course as a mature student/ are there any gaps of study?

Speak to your Tier 4 sponsor urgently for advice.
