You need 5 years residence before you can apply for ILR.
Having a British partner makes no difference to this requirement.

so the clock starts from the day I've been granted refugee status or does't start from the day I claimed asylum?

but what about this:
https://www.gov.uk/becoming-a-british-c ... sh-citizen
* lived in the UK for at least the 3 years before your application is received
* spent no more than 270 days outside the UK in those 3 years
* spent no more than 90 days outside the UK in the last 12 months
* not broken any immigration laws while in the UK

You need ILR before you can apply for citizenship. To get ILR you need 5 years residence.
The citizenship based on 3 years residence applies to married people not unmarried partners. You still require ILR first which takes 5 years.
There is no shortcut.

No you cannot. You still need ILR and to qualify for ILR you need 5 years residence.
There is no quicker route or shortcut.
