Daughter's Settlement

Post by Nicki11 » Thu Sep 14, 2017 2:57 pm

Hello. I am new to this board and have a question about settlement. I have been on the gov.uk site and cannot find answers anywhere nor a number to call that leads to a human. Help would be greatly appreciated.

My daughter and I received settlement status several years ago. We noticed her biometric card is due to expire on the 15th! She is turning 18 soon. Does this mean she just needs to update her info ie photo or do we need to completely reapply for her? I can only find info about applying for settlement but we already have that. Do you have a link where I can get info and forms?

Thank you!

By 'settlement' do you mean 'ILR - indefinite leave to remain'?

If BRPs are expiring, you simply apply to renew the BRP (like a drivers licence).

Why not apply for citizenship?
