Hello

I hold ILR and will be applying for Naturalisation in March 2018.

My parents are in Pakistan and was wondering what are the chances of bringing them to the UK as permanent residents? Both are above age 65. Also, which application form will be used to apply for them? Is it worth going through a Solicitor? Financially I can support them well.

Thanks

No chance, about 99% refusal rate, since the rules were made more stringent in July 2012. Visa costs almost £4k per person. The very few successes have been through incredibly lengthy and costly appeals. A solicitor will have no bearing on the case either. If you choose to apply and they are refused, it shuts the door to future visitor visa as well as the intention to settle has been stated.

If you can support them well financially here, then HO will take the view that you can support them in their home country by sending them money or paying for their care as it is substantially cheaper in Pakistan.
