IS Any one applied Dependent ILR 28 days before eligibility date?

Hi,

Recently my Tier 2 ILR application was successful and my wife come to UK in tier 2 PBS dependent on 06/Nov/2012 and continuously living in UK and her entry clearance date was 23/Oct/2012.

Can anyone please clarify which date she is eligible to apply ILR application ? Can I do her application after 09/Oct/2017 (28 days before the 5 years completion). as we are planning a month holiday in November and her current visa is expiring in end of December 2017.

Also, Please let me know the approximate process time for postal application if i do in Dec 2017? (I am aware it is 6 month but is anyone received early for dependent Visa?)

28 days before her first entry.
Search forum for more timescales, but looks really tight for a holiday in nov, unless u do a same day application

Are you saying 28 before her eligibility?

She can only apply for ILR within 28 days calculated from the date of entry to the UK.

For dependents it is NOT the date of visa issue but the date of UK ENTRY that starts the residence clock.
