Tier 2 General Switch Sponsor Premium Service application

Post by ramprofacct » Mon Oct 02, 2017 4:44 pm

Hi,
My employer's licence was initially suspended and was eventually revoked on September, 18th of this month. Hence I had to switch sponsors. I had submitted all the appropriate docs below for Tier 2 (General) - Switch Employers, Premium Service Center at Glasgow on 22/09/17:

1) Certificate of Sponsorship
2) Offer Letter from the new employer with maintenance
3) Payslips for 6 months from my ex-employer whose licence has recently been revoked (This is just to justify continual employment till date)
4) Bank Statements for 3 months

The Caseworker had verified and confirmed that all my docs are valid however informed that HO still has further queries and my application needs to be held. No Timeline was guaranteed. May I seek your assistance on a couple of queries please:

1) What would the 'Further' Queries be? I presume that it could be directed to my current sponsor?
2) Regardless of the validity of my visa as my ex-employer's licence has been revoked, the curtailment period should have come into play by now but since the outcome is pending, think this doesnt matter to my leave. Does the same clause apply to my dependent (s) as well?

Your guidance is much appreciated. Thank you so much in advance.

Likely that the RLMT etc and the proper salary etc meets all the requirements.
2) Regardless of the validity of my visa as my ex-employer's licence has been revoked, the curtailment period should have come into play by now but since the outcome is pending, think this doesnt matter to my leave. Does the same clause apply to my dependent (s) as well?
By 'clause' for dependents, do you mean 'curtailment period'?? If yes, then the answer is no, provided your new application is successful.

Hi,
Thanks a lot for your swift response.

Thanks much, Yes I meant the curtailment period.

Hi Ram and other members, I am exactly in the same boat, my sponsor licence has revoked on 18th Sept, I applied for change of employment(Premium Service) on 1st Nov. They have only asked for my passports, biometric, Application form and 2 photos. but after 2.5 hours told my application is valid but need some information from my new sponsor. Case handler emailed to my new sponsor for additional information. Can you please share your experience after above situations
Thanks,
Anamik
