Impact of transferring Tier 2 (Employer) on Tier 2 (Partner) VISA / Maternity?

Post by jason2615 » Tue Oct 03, 2017 4:05 pm

Hi all - just wondering if anyone here has gone through the process of transferring their Tier 2 (Employer Sponsored) VISA to a new employer and what impact that had on your partners Tier 2 (Partner) VISA?

Did they also need to renew/switch their VISA and does it have any impact on maternity leave/benefits?

Reason being is that we will be having a kid in March and want to make sure that any changes in my Tier 2 Sponsored VISA between now and then wouldn't impact her rights to any maternity benefits under her VISA.

Any help would be great!

Your PBS dependent partner DOES NOT have to apply for a new visa when you switch employers provided they still have a valid visa.
