Extension application date

I applied for Tier 1 Entrepreneur Visa from overseas and the visa date is 1 Oct 2014 and it expires on 1 Feb 2018. I am planning to apply for my extension now and use the visa date instead of date of entry to UK as the start date. Am I correct that if I do this, I can apply for my ILR 30 days before 1 Oct 2019?

You can apply for ILR 30 days before 1st October 2019, provided you meet all other conditions.
It has nothing to do with which date you use as Specified date during extension - the two are totally different things

Yep - my mistake. I repeated OP's words without paying too much attention. Was replying more on the principle rather than the exact number of days.
