Will I have to reapply for a new visa?

Post by Ssib » Sat Oct 07, 2017 10:52 am

Hi I was wondering if someone can help me please?

I came to the UK on a fiancé visa in 2012 and was married the same year. I was granted my ILR in 2015 based on fulfilling the requirements of my fiancé visa. However me and my husband who is a British citizen are now getting a divorce. We have two children together who are British citizens and I was wondering will I have to reapply on a parental visa to remain in the UK?

No you don't. If you have ILR (indefinite leave to remain) then a divorce does not change that.
