UK Ancestry Dependent VISA query

Hi there

I am eligible for my UK ancestry visa; my spouse would need to come over as a dependent on my visa.

However my spouse has previous convictions, minor offenses with no time spent in jail, just admission of guilt fines. This was over 5 years ago.

What is the best way for me to go forward in applying for his visa? Has anyone had any success with this type of situation or know anyone that has.

Please someone help, this is an urgent request as I am already interviewing with UK businesses.

It really does depend on what the conviction was for.

It will have to be declared in the form.
